I have loved art since I was very young. Selling my first artwork at eight years old. Being a self-taught artist I have worked to capture the personalities of my subjects. I have worked in acrylics, oil, oil pastels, graphite and in color pencil. My love for color pencil happened when I had to work away from home. Color pencils travel well and are not messy which is important when you are staying with relatives or friends. Strawberry Spring was my first piece to win an award and was one of the entries to be selected for CP Hidden Treasures 2 in 2014. My Snow Leopard on the Alert was selected for CP Hidden Treasures 3. I am currently working on African animals, portraits, and commissioned works including family pets, capturing a moment in time.
